1. Weigh yourself.
You hate this number, don’t you? You want it to be smaller, right? And you would be able to reach your goal weight if you didn’t fucking eat.
2. If you’re a beginner, don’t fast yet.
Start from eating 500 calories a day and when you’re confident, try the ABC diet. Fasting sure sounds better but if you binge after some days of fasting, you’re going to gain all the weight back (hell, you can even become heavier than you were).
3. Suck on ice cubes.
It’ll feel like you’re eating + you’ll burn some calories because they’re cold.
3. Drink green tea/water.
It’s obvious. Green tea boosts your metabolism. Cold water can burn some calories and warm water can make you feel sick therefore you won’t feel hungry.
4. Exercise till you feel sick.
You’ll burn calories, distract yourself from eating and after you’re done you won’t feel like eating anymore.
5. Look at thinspo.
Now, you shouldn’t just ‘look’ at it. Every time you see a girl much thinner than you think to yourself:
‘I’ll never look like that if I keep on eating.’
6. Write personal meanspo.
It’s seriously the most motivating thing ever. It is something that’ll get to you. Write it. Keep it close. Read it every time you want to binge.
7. Take photos of the parts of your body that you hate most.
Keep them in your phone and look at them before binges.
8. Watch a movie about anorexia/bulimia.
They are so triggering.
9. Write your CW, GW and UGW on a sticky note or something and put it somewhere you can see it often.
It’ll remind you that eating didn’t get you to a perfect weight and it certainly won’t get better if you keep on binging.
10. Look at your skinny friends.
Jealousy is the best kind of motivation.
11. Go to a pro ana chat.
Talk to some anorexic people for tips, motivation, share your GWs. It’ll also distract you from eating and maybe even make you not want to eat.
12. Post some pictures of yourself on tumblr (for example) and ask people for meanspo.
13. If you lost weight, don’t reward yourself with food.
You’ve only lost a little bit. You’re still so far from reaching your GW. And if you’ve reached your GW, start aiming for your UGW or even lower.
14. Don’t binge even if you feel good about yourself.
You’re just about to get back to being fat again. So don’t stop starving.
15. Plan your meals.
If you know that you will be able to eat something on a particular hour, you will less likely end up binging. When you eat your planned meal, cut it into small pieces, eat it slowly and drink lots of water. You’ll feel full for longer.
I hope that these helped you a little! These tips sure work for me but I don’t know if they will work for everyone else.
